Connection strings are okay and the ASPNETDB appears to be working okay - but not sure about that at this point in time.
I have very limited access to an SQL server database (using rudimentary web based interface) for my hosted website.
I have a table that has the details of households and another that has the details of all the persons associated with the households.
Don’t you like to have a stored procedure handy like sp_helptext to generate table definitions for you from query window without switching over to the SSMS object explorer? , @include Foreign Key BIT = 1 -- Do you want to include foreignkeys in the definition script?
Here it is, I have created stored procedure called sp_helptable. , @include Default BIT = 1 --Do you want to include default constraints in the definition script?
With OLEDB I had to make sure there was a key field, but in this instance I have defined a self incrementing integer field as an identity and it still is grayed out. I am developing a site using the express edition of all tools (VWD and SQL Express).
I want to use Go Daddy hosting and was wondering if I will be able to effectively put my SQL database and website up on their hosting even though it was developed via Express edition of Microsoft programs? Deploying SQL Express to SQL Express I'm trying to deploy my website to a VPS that is running SQL Express 2005.I have developed the site using Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Express 2005.I detached my databases locally and simply used the copy website to upload the databases into my app_data folder on the remote. For naming conventions of Database Objects check the database documentation. When using SQL Server Express, what must I do to enable the Advanced features (ADD, EDIT, DELETE) in the SQLDatasource configuration? If you set a column to the value it currently has, My SQL notices this and does not update a virtual table, defined by a query, that does not exist until it is invoked by name in an SQL statement.
